Haldia sits at the mouth of the Hooghly, about 124 km south-west of Kolkata, and grew around its port and heavy industry: the IOCL Haldia refinery, Haldia Petrochemicals, chemical plants and power generation. It is often called the petrochemical city of West Bengal.
Around the big plants and the port work many smaller firms: clearing and forwarding agents, transporters, maintenance contractors and material suppliers. We build the software they need to keep track of shipments, work orders, manpower and paperwork.
